Taare Zamee Par........

A soul so pious that it makes even GOD to rethink of his deeds, a mind so blessed with innocent imaginations that the neck breaking competitive world calls it abnormal. It was a simple and honest attempt to portray a cause that has been never in the mainstream.
The disappointment shown by parents over their child's failure to understand basic things is very understandable and has been shown in the true light. The spirit which many people like Ram Nikumbh (Amir in the movie) is very admirable and questions the burden which parents put on their children to compete with the world without even accessing their abilities and their special talent. The dialogue , "Agar race ka itna hi shauk hai to horse breeding karo, bacche kyu paida karte ho", makes a deep impact. There are quite a few touching moments like when Ishan Awasthi was standing on the gate of the hostel and saw his parents leaving him for the first time ever in his life can draw a tear or two from The Great Khali too.
The song, "Tujhe sab hai pata, hai na maa" is very well written and composed. All kudos to this gem along the with "Dekho inhe, ye hai oss ki boondein" will be there on charts for sometime.
Though I am not a movie reviewer or anyone remotely related to this line, still this movie made me happy and sad a few times which forced me to say thanks to Amir Khan for providing the viewers with healthy entertainment along with a message to the society the "Every child is special".

Merry X-mas or Happy Diwali

What more, one can ask for ? your manager walks straight towards you while you are at lunch in canteen and says, Sid, you can leave now , call it a day. I was like , Are you sure, its 1:00 pm and next two days are X-mas holidays already. She says, ya , am sure. Have fun and enjoy!!! I wondered, how good the things can get and makes you feel, life is not that boring, eh??
I still remember, two years ago, I was in hyderabad and diwali was about to come and we had one day off and then there was Id too, so, two days off in a single week. I asked for 3 days annual leave so that I can go home and celebrate diwali. My boss denied saying, it has only been 5 months since you took last vacations and the project deadline is also there.
I somehow consoled myself and managed to say , Ok boss. However, a few days later, I came to know that one of my close relative is suffering from Cancer and might be having few months left in his kitty. I again asked my boss for leave and he said a big NO, I explained that I will leave hyderabad on friday night and will take monday off. So, this way, only one day leave can help me to meet my uncle who is fighting with cancer. He agreed but very reluctantly. So, I finally celebrated diwali in Raipur at my relative's place.
A few days later, my Boss taunted me for taking leave at that time when whole team was working. I felt like sticking the fork that I had in my hand , right into the face of that ugly soul. But all I could manage to say that, Its so inhuman on your part to not to understand my problem.
So, Life is really funny and gives you the things at odd times. I don't need any leave this time but I have plethora and when I needed most, haha, there was none
